I became a photographer because I was looking to create positive images of plus size black men doing dope shit. Growing up, I rarely saw representations of Black men that celebrated their strength, style, and unapologetic confidence. I wanted to change that narrative and showcase the beauty, resilience, and sheer badassery of the plus size Black men in my community. Through my lens, I aim to capture the raw energy, infectious joy, and undeniable swagger that radiates from these individuals as they live their lives to the fullest. My photography is a love letter to the marginalized, a celebration of the underrepresented, and a testament to the power of seeing yourself reflected in the world around you.
